Battlefield: Bad Company 2 [PS3]

Reach Max Rank (50)

This one will be LONG due to I will add in times of my [PS3] friends that are playing with me too. It will still be mainly about me, since this is my goal and I have no clue if my friends intend to reach max rank or not, but I decided to add in their estimated times for extra fun. Might as well, since they are playing with me anyways.
 

Why am I stopping at 40 and not the goal of max (50)? Well, because none of my friends have the VIP maps, so playing the same 4 maps over and over (we only play Conquest) is getting kinda old. Another reason is that playing BC2 multiplayer so much has made my backlog knockout progress kind of slow down more than I would like. So the sooner I am done with this, this more time I can spend on my backlog. Reason I started playing BC2 again was because I had the itch to get back into an online shooter. Now that itch is passing, though. I need to wrap up my backlog a bit before this new generation of consoles comes out, or I fear I will never get around to a lot of them. I can't (well, don't want to) really spend another 100-200 hours on trying to reach max rank in BC2.

Still, I have played it for over 200 hours. Not too shabby. That's not as long as I played Battlefield 2 online (376 hours), but I do believe that's longer than I have played any Call of Duty title online.
 

UPDATE: Now that I am 40, and will be stopping soon (right before I hit 41). Will I ever go back to Bad Company 2 and get to max rank eventually? No telling. The next-gen console are coming out soon, so I want to clean up most, if not all, of my current backlog to prepare for that. And once the next gen consoles come out, there is no telling how much I will go back and play older games. Especially older games that I have already beaten, such as BC2. So this goal will probably stay like this forever.

I stopped a little before hitting 41 because I was spending too much time with Bad Company 2. Since I have about 30 games in my backlog, I really need to focus more on that before the next generation of gaming comes out. There is a slight chance I will finish all the way to max sometime eventually, but it looks doubtful.

Reason: Updated my Score in the PROGRESS table. Updated the STATUS speed and description. Updated the estimated times for [probably] the last time.

This is basically a mix between more detailed version of the UPDATES section above, and my PROGRESS section. Also this is the part where I add in my friends that are playing with me.

NOTES:
1. These times are rough estimates. These times just go by if the person stayed with their current rate of gaining score the rest of the time. So you will see times rise and fall, depending on a person's Score Per Minute (SPM) at the time of calculations. So them getting a lot of awards or being in several good games will make their times drop. And on the other hand, being in bad games might make their times raise.
2. I will add more people if anymore of my real-life friends start playing BC2 with me. Like I am trying to get Joe (nitemarePL9) into it. No, sorry. I will not add you to this list if you friend me on PSN and join my squad. I am only doing this for fun with my real-life friends.
3. If a person is missing from a date below, this does not necessarily mean that they are no longer playing BC2. It just simply means that they have not played it since the last update.
4. Also, the dates of these updates does not necessarily mean we had played that day. As well as consecutive missing dates does not mean that we did not playing at all during that time. I just update these times whenever I find it convenient. The dates are when I updated the stats, not of the last date we played.

5. Click the names to be taken to our respective BFBCS.com stat pages. (Sadly no longer available.)
6. Below dates will be in order from newest (top) to oldest (bottom). People are sorted by highest to lowest ranks at the time of the update.
7. I could have the times down to even the amount of seconds, as well. But since these are simply just fun little rough estimate times, that is a little too much overkill, in my opinion. Simply the hours and minutes is good enough.
8. I do not double-check most of these times to make sure my calculations were correct. Only time I double-check is when something seems amiss. So therefor some of these time estimates might be a few minutes - to maybe even a few hours - off from time-to-time. Again, I do this for fun. So I see no use wasting hours of my day to make sure everything is 100% accurate all the time. Doing this at all takes enough time as it is. So take these times as you will.
9. Once I get done playing this game, I will more than likely no longer update my friend's times. Not unless I notice something drastic, like one (or multiple) of my friends still playing this game all the time.
10. Some people asked me how I came up with these times. Well I can't remember exactly now, as it has been so long ago, but I think it was something like I took our current score and substracted that from the score you need to reach max level. And then I think I took that number and divided it by our score per minute (SPM). I then took that number and converted it to how long it would be in hours. Again, I'm not 100% sure that's correct. I might be missing a step in there somewhere, but that's what I can think of off the top of my head, after it being so long ago.
