Bio:

Bloody Sky was born the year of 1988. He has lived in a small town outside the DFW area of Texas for most of his life. He first picked up a controller sometime in 1990. He doesn't remember if he originally got into the Atari or the NES, but he knows it was one of those. And from there it grew. Thanks to his father being a gamer, he was able to grow with the age of gaming. When the Sega Saturn came out, he was there to play on it. N64 released, he gamed on it. When the PS1 released, he was there to game on it. So on and so forth.

Although he enjoys trophies and achievements, he thinks it's kind of silly when gamers refuse to buy a game when their trophy or achievement lists look "too hard". "Who cares?", he says. "Just play the damn game for fun! You know, like people used to do."

"Trophies and achievements, I believe, were originally meant to extends a game's life, and to also encourage people to do things in the game they may normally wouldn't try. Not to make OCD "completitionists" happy that they have 100% in every game they own." - Bloody Sky

He believes that gamers should buy any games they think will be good, regardless of the game's attached trophy/achievement list.

Bloody Sky also dislikes fanboys and the whole "console wars" thing. He also believes gamers should buy any and all consoles they can afford, regardless of the name of the company that owns it.
"I get brand loyalty, and all that, but if you truly consider yourself a gamer, I feel you would want all the different consoles. If you choose to stick to just one system, even PC, you are missing out on some great gaming experiences. Some exclusive games are really top notch."

Bloody Sky has never been addicted to any one game really (although World of Warcraft comes close...), or even just video games in general. He usually does not play one game longer than a month or two, before moving onto another. However, there has been some games that has caught his interests for longer periods. Such as World of Warcraft, Lost Odyssey, Dead by Daylight and The Last Remnant. Also such game series as Guild Wars, Battlefield, Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, NieR, Diablo, Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect, Call of Duty, Fallout, Halo, Destiny, and Knights of the Old Republic.

He plays games for many reasons. An escape, stress relief, for fun, to burn time. Gaming is his #1 hobby. People think he is addicted to gaming, but honestly, he just games because he enjoys to. He has went weeks without gaming before, because he has had other fun things to do with his time. He'll take a road trip to the lake with friends or family over gaming any day. Many think gaming is "all he does", which is not true. However, gaming is the thing he feels like he will never tire of doing throughout his lifetime.

"Gaming has helped me out through some very rough times in life. Gaming has "always been there", so to speak. If it wasn't for the release of gaming, I would probably be a very different person today. If I hadn't of snapped and went crazy by now, that is. Ha ha."
