This goal is kind of silly, but I am doing it for two reasons. 1. I really love trophies, so I am pushing myself to get more trophies. 2. To maybe get my friends to start actually challenging me with trophies. Let's face it, there is little chance they can catch up and pass me at this point. But with this goal, they can at least stop me from getting 5,000 trophies past them.
What this goal basically is:
I am about to hit 5k trophies on the PlayStation Network. ALL trophies earned legit (no hacking, modding, glitching or even boosting), and all earned by me (no multiple people on my account). So after I hit 5k, I really didn't know what else I can do/say to motivate me into earning more. Not like I am going to become #1 in the world in trophies with people sharing their accounts and hacking trophies. And just telling myself, "OK. I got to 5k... Now to make it 10k!" just sounds so fucking boring. So....... I made this goal. The goal to surpass ALL of my real-life PSN friends with a 5k trophy lead.
Unlike the other goals I currently have posted, expect to see both the numbers in "Next" and "Goal" to constantly change, even if I haven't moved forward. Not only because I will be passing people and then targeting new people (in the "Next" section, at least), but also because these people will [hopefully] be gaining trophies too. Trying to give me a hard time with my goal here. Whether meaning to on purpose or not.
Having this goal of mine is not necessary for me to earn trophies. I have fun earning trophies regardless of "why" I'm doing it, even if it's for no reason at all. But having a goal for a little extra motivation doesn't hurt. Also, like I said, I am hoping it motivates some of my friends to earn trophies too, so I can't pass them so easy.
